It also constructs and maintains biomass power plants and energy from waster plants. In addition, the company manufactures, sells, and maintains general purpose boilers, such as boilers and vacuum-type hot water heaters, which are used as heat-source equipment at shopping centers, factories, and other facilities, as well as clean equipment and washing systems for use in the semiconductor industry; and designs and fabricates building equipment, including air-conditioning, water, and wastewater systems. Takuma Co., Ltd. was formerly known as Takuma Boiler Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Takuma Co., Ltd. in 1972. The company was incorporated in 1938 and is headquartered in Amagasaki, Japan.
