It invests in the public equity markets of Asia excluding Japan. The fund invests in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in the stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI All Country Asia ex Japan Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. It was formerly known as iShares Asia Trust - iShares MSCI AC Asia ex Japan Index ETF. iShares Asia Trust - iShares Core MSCI AC Asia ex Japan Index ETF was formed on March 12, 2009 and is domiciled in Hong Kong.
